Making the world a better place

Thursday, July 5th, 2007
Here in the United States, the fourth of July marks a time when we look back to remember all of the sacrifices that our forefathers have made so that we can live in a free country. In the United States we have the freedom to choose which school we go to. We choose what line of work we would like to pursue. We choose whether we want to eat at Mc Donald’s or Wendy’s. But sometimes we forget to choose the most important thing of all.
We forget about all of the sacrifices that have been made to make life as easy for us as it currently is. We need to start to think about what we do, and how it will affect future generations, so that they too someday will be proud of how we made the planet a better place for them. This is the reason that Dan, Jason and I created this website. And as with all things worth while the path is not going to be the easiest, or the least bumpy, but we are going to make an effort to change things for the better. We want to help accomplish this with our website.
For our first environmental project, we are planning on planting trees. Each tree is going to be near a place of high traffic and easy visibility. This will help spread Greener Thinking to the masses. We are currently trying to find the most environmentally friendly way to spread our message and the best way to acquire small trees. We are also experimenting with seedlings.
Today we are opening up this poll to help us come up with some ideas. If you have any good idea’s please send them to us. We know that you too want to make a difference, and our ears are open. We will be keeping you up to date on our “GT Press Releases” tab, expect more information within the next month.
